iw3mp.exe
i haven't really payed attention to windows vista updates, but recently i installed windows service pack 1 and 2. After i installed them i tried starting up cod4 (i got a new copy) and it doesn't even load the main menu and i get an iw3mp.exe error. so i thought it was cause of the updates. I was thinking i needed to uninstall them, but i went to the list that shows the updates that were installed and it shows only the service pack 1. (which i already uninstalled) It doesn't show service pack 2. There is one update that says KB956250. I don't know what it is but im about to uninstall it because it may be service pack 2. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Try enabling stereo mix
-Start, control panel
-Hardware and Sound
-Sound
-Recording Tab
-Right Click in window, chose "Show Disabled Devices"
-"Setero MIX"appeared, Right Click and choose enable
I always got an error with it disabled
