KONY 2012
Didn't know whether to post this in "Funny/Remarkable Videos" or not, it seemed slightly more important.
A lot of you have probably already seen it because the internet has been bombarded with links. It would of ended up here eventually.

Re: KONY 2012

Re: KONY 2012
After watching the first ten minutes, he got to a part where he wanted to "explain" the war to a child.
I honestly could not continue watching from that point on, clearly using the child as a prop.
Sadly, the 'internet generation' has become a generation trying to solve problems that have existed beyond our personal living memory, and honestly believe a tense drama - using a child as a way of making a story that is already incredibly bad, somehow worse - is the key to the solution.
While we are solving the problems in Uganda, can we also solve the problems with starvation, poverty, global warming, deforestation, aids, extortion, racism, etc... that is going on worldwide in many Countries.

I find this crap stupid. There are countless injustice's in the world, but once you can blame one person, everyone gets all fired up about them.

And it's Africa we're talking about. I don't know about you guys but most of that continent is completely fucked up. We don't donate to those countries either because it ends up in criminal hands anyway. Can send food aswell but then for the next 100 years you have to keep sending more food. I also doubt sending in armed forces is a bad idea because criminals will simply return later.

You obviously mean a bad idea since you're a mod and can edit not only your own posts but posts of others as well(so quotes can be corrected in case of people reposting your mistake).

Re: KONY 2012
I'm confused now
Anyway, ignore such shitholes! Even if it's bad for worthy people living there, it's just pointless.
