sound problem

When im playing cod4 i cant hear gunshots. Like if i fire my gun i dont hear anything. Or if someone fires their gun i dont hear anything. All i hear is "enemy helicopter inbound" or "our UAV is online", airstrike, and frag grenade explosions. :?:

Theres nothing a reinstall cant fix...
If something doesn't work, restart/reinstall it, if than it doesn't work, your screwed.
