reinstall
There was a problem with cod4 I didnt know how to fix. I heard that reinstalling the game could fix the issue. So I put the disk in and i click the uninstall button and it uninstalls. Then i open the menu thing that starts up when you put the disk in and the button that is supposed to say install says uninstall. And I already uninstalled it. what can I do
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Go to your software and check if CoD4 is still in that list, completely remove it and try installing again.

No it should be on the start menu, but I can't say for certain what the exact word is in English, just look around a bit. Find the software list and you'll see every piece of software you have installed. You've got to find that menu.

Smilarly go to the add/remove programs list, and if it is on there remove it and then try to install.

I have windows vista. And all my start menu says is internet, windows email, winRAR, windows movie maker, disk defragmenter, system configuration (I already tried system configuration. all it says is stuff about rebooting and startup.) , default programs, backup status and configuration (tried that to, all it is is information on files that have been backed up), notepad, gamecam xpress, decoder configuration Utility, all programs, george, documents, pictures, music, games, search, recent items, computer, network, connect to, control pannel, default programs, and help and support.
