Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie

While I was/am waiting for the rest of the parts for my other project I thought of giving that mosaik thing a try again.
The left one is Sandra Bullock and the right one is Angelina Jolie.
They are both not yet finished .... have to deside what color looks good for the background and the "hair" of Sandra has to be finished (don't have anymore brown )

I just used Paintshop pro.
Pixelerate (have to figure out how many pixels look good and still can be made into a reasonable size mosaik) , then change the "colors used" number (I used 16).
Then change the colors the way you like (which look good).
That changing the color thing is realy the creative part, the rest is like ministeck (but way bigger)
And you need enough Lego ofcourse
Still have to tweak them a bit though...I'm not satisfied with some parts.

Next project will be maybe this one;
But if I make it like this, it will be too frekin' big.
I don't have the Lego and the plates I need for this (yet ).
Ofcourse I'm only going for the face and not the whole black space.
Maybe I also try it in blue but I like the gray one better.

Would've been even more impressed if you'd done it entirely from scratch (without the help of PSP), but still very impressive!

I know.
But I made one without psp (an easy one) and that is also pretty easy when you get the hang of it.
Takes alot of graphpaper though and I simply don't have the time for that.
