crashes??

I was getting so mad with fraps and the lagg it causes during recording so i thought maybe I can get a different recording program so i uninstall fraps. While I was searching i stumbled upon a vid showing how to stop fraps lagging. I wanted to try it out. So i got Fraps again did wat the vid said and I wanted to test it with a demo i recorded. But I try to start cod4 and i get iw3mp.exe error. I try again and it does the same thing. And I go to the internet and my web browser crashes and everything starts to crash. I uninstall it and all works fine again. why is this.

just use the built in recording function of cod.
Then, later, use a timescale like 0.1 to let fraps record with about 3 fps. Then, use some other program to upscale the framerate back to 30.
