And the best way to get better is just jump on the CJ servers whenever you get the chance. You'll pick it up before you know it.

I learbed watching vids, and tutorials.its rather simple in concept, difficult in perfection. Just think aboyt it this way, move forward and left, turnleft and jump.

i see alot of people asking things like this: teach me how to strafe!
i learned strafejumping in 2002 or so on Quake 3 without any tutorials or people telling me how to do it.
The best way to learn it, is to figure it out by yourself.
anyway, in tutorials there is one thing people dont say:
experiment with ur movement and create ur own style.
there are millions of ways to strafejump, they all follow the basics, but i see alot of people jumping around clueless because a tutorial told em how to jump.
they dont think of different ways to do it, they think: ''i saw someone doing it like this, this is the only way...''
and when they get stuck theyll blame it on the person who made the video.
anyway, just wanted to get it off my chest...
i hope you learn how to strafe, just remember, there is more than one way to do it, find the way that suits you best.
