mp_hideout_beta2 jumps/bounces

hey everyone,

was bored yesterday so started running around hideout_beta2 to see if there were any jumps.
in about 5 minutes i already found a way out of the map, so i kept on jumping.
All the jumps in the video are doing in 1 long run, hence the excessive saving :P
ive found a shitton of other jumps on the map, but couldnt be arsed to make the video longer.

Part1:
part 1 is a bit overedited for one simple reason: i felt like editing something...

Part2:
i stopped the overediting because it was already 5 am and i was tired as fuck, so i just put a song under it and did some random transitions.

anyway, hope you guys like it! :)

ive done a shitload of jumps and on alot of different ways, but still nice video.

anyway, i looked on cdjumper and youtube for hideout jumps, but gave me no results..
if u wnat credit, tag ur video's better or name em atleast :P

still think its worth watching my video, since theres a shitload of diff jumps.
and most of em performed in a different way.

this map is prolly one of the easiest maps to jump on :P

This map is made for promod so anything that's done with 333 fps or RPG are irrelevant.

A custom map built for Promod? That's bullshit. It's a custom map so you can play it in whatever gamemode you wish so 333 is alright.

Watch the videos if you don't believe me Zait. Obviously it can be played on any mode but the reason he made this was to bring a new map into the rotation of the competitive side of CoD4 which is promod.

Then why a custom map, why not official maps?

Overgrown and Vacant would make good maps. And obviously Chinatown. Why aren't these played?

I do not play competitive, but I would assume that from them being played previously it was found they were very poor competitive maps, i.e too defense biased.

This map is being planned purely on competitive gaming, where you will find IW maps are planned to allow for all gametypes.

Yeah I see the logic in that. Vacant would fall in that category (Not too sure about Overgrown tbh). But even then, back in the CoD1 days all maps were played.

Now it's just practise a few maps, we had to practise all maps back in CoD1 and CoD2. Way more fun and diversity tbh.

Vacant used to be in the rotation but was taken out because people would just spray the A walls for 2 minutes and then move in. I believe it's still being played in the US competitive scene.

Overgrown is unbalanced - Scope can see everything.

Not sure why Chinatown isn't used but i don't like that map anyways :P

Ahh yeah I used to play Vacant with Atze a few times a long time ago.

Overgrown is understandable. Chinatown is not, that should be in :P

Why isn't Ambush in? That would make a fine map. Obviously a lot of out-of-bound areas but they can be included in the rules can they not.

Why aren't the maps Pipeline and Downpour played? I personally dislike them but just curious.

I also believe Broadcast is a good map (I really loved playing that one when it came out).

I'm not sure but my guess would be:

Ambush - nearly impossible to plant the bomb if defenders aren't retards + loads of glitches indeed.
Pipeline - there are spots in the map where you can see both bomb sides and to hard to get out of spawn because the scope can see everyone cross.
Downpour - way to many hiding spots, in the grass etc.
Broadcast - way to many crap in the map, especially the main room.

Chinatown has been seriously considered to add but it hasn't, don't know why not.

Yeah Downpour is really campy.

Don't agree with Broadcast though, apart of the main room. But there-in lies the challenge imo.
