I need help with choosing a gaming pc

Hi, i am looking to buy a gaming computer this summer and don't know what type of specs a computer would need to be able to get good FPS on cod4 for CodJumping or Ranked. I was looking around for gaming computers and came across this one, if anyone knows if this computer is good enough to play Cod4 and be able to get high FPS please leave a message so that i can see it. Any help is greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance.

I would say the gfx card isn't good enough but I am not sure because I never had that kind of card

250 is a bit much i guess

ati and nvidia are currently focussing on the sub-200 dollar market, so there is a lot of good cards for under 200

This is the PC i might get in a month or 2.
This, imo is cheap and good for gaming although I'm paying the seller extra to add some other stuff to it like a better gfx card and pre-install win 7 etc.

The casing of that ebay pc is made of thin, flimsy metal which can be bend by hand very easily

Also, more important, whit that price there is no way that there is a good powersupply included. Most likely around 400w no-name psu with 50% of its power on the 5v line (cause its cheaper than putting it on the 12v line.... pcs use the 12v way more than the 5v line) Also, power efficiency should not be expected to come anywhere near 80%

Well tbh I dont plan on hitting my PC and I honestly dont know much about power suply to a pc and how important it is but its rly cheap so you might have a point lol.

Basically it doesn't have a graphics card so will be terrible for gaming.

It'd need at around $250 (rough conversion to $ in my head) spending on a new graphics card as a starting point.

Well i was planning on just buying that computer and replacing a couple of parts myself, i think this way is cheaper because some parts cost less and are pretty good. Oh also if i could ask a question, Are graphics cards compatible with any motherboard?

As long as they are pci-e they should be compatible

But keep in mind you need to buy a new psu, as i imagine this one doesnt have the power connectors (and power deliverance capability for that matter) to power a mid-end gfx card....

If you buy something cheap, expect nothing.


Build your own pc out of quality parts. It might cost 50 dollars more, but its def worth it.
