Video/Sound not in sync...CoD4

Post by F |Madness| U » May 1st, 2011, 6:55 pm

I recorded a 3minute clip of me doing a public jump with cl_avidemo 120 (had to put together 3 seperate avi files in vegas).

I recorded this same demo with windows sound recorder, so I can add the sound into vegas.

In vegas I synced the picture of the first rpg firing perfectly with the sound of the first rpg firing. (About 20 secs in).
At about 2minutes 30 into the video, the second rpg is fired, and the sound is horribley out of sync (about 3 seconds or so).

I want to know why this is/how to fix it, its as if the video and audio arn't running in the same timescale. And the video was recorded with timescale 1. Any help appreciated thanks.

I prefer quality with avidemo :) Its annoying because for a 3minute audio clip from cod4, I have to segment it into about 8 different pieces, and stretch each piece slightly so that it is still in sync with the video..

only other way i could think of.
You record a rpg shot and just manually stick it in.
I know.. but works if its not too long.

Record with Fraps and compare. You will probably find the video is out of sync.

Also, you could always just take the sounds from a Fraps recording.
