Lord of the Rings movies are better compared to the book (Specially the action scenes). What I do miss (And what is impossible to cover in a movie) is the countless of references and LotR lore in the book like areas, creatures etc. Really cool. But some action scenes were really short (Or way too long like the council of Elrond ).
Harry Potter movies just suck balls (Also because of the horrible British accent actors).
