Cutting a hole
How do you cut a hole in a wall ? to make a door or window fit there or just to let in some light.??? instead of building a new wall and laving a gap?
Re: Cutting a hole
holing brushes is impossible.
Re: Cutting a hole
wont the cutter tool work?
Youd have to do many cuts, but it should be possible (easy if ur window is rectangular).

Re: Cutting a hole
ye, substract tool can do it with dividing one brush by a few ones (you still cannot have a perforated brush). but, at least in cod1, it often causes bugs if a door brush is not in rectagular shape.

Re: Cutting a hole
All brushes must have solid convex shapes.
So, you cannot make (for exmaple) and 'L' shape using one brush.
To make a hole in a brush, you would create more brushes using the clipper tool.
So, to create an 'L' you would have one brush '|' and a second '_'
When you have them in position, you can apply a texture to both brushes at the same time, this will align the texture and after compile the shape will looke natural and seamless.
Only watch the "2-point clipping". Its quite quick, but its simply explained.
