Dedicated server ingame or from a shortcut

Is there a differents between starting a dedicated server from the ingame menu and starting it from a shortcut on your desktop (fsgame I think it's called) ?

Well i dont really see a big difference... by shortcut u can use a config which gives u bigger pallete of options but i think its probably the same... and with shortcut it can run multiple servers on one platform (or a real server)... also fs_game is a command for mod to choose which mod it will play... for example on CJ server its fs_game = mods/codjumperv3_1

Can be done by ingame too.

OK. thx guys. The reason for this question is that somehow my map and mods don't work on a server of a friend of mine which runs it from the shortcut. Then I'll have to look for another explanation. (probably found it already)
