Get a minimizer.

heres one I have recently used.
Colonel Cows CoD/UO Minimizer

I am also making my own CoD Utility and the first function will be a minimizer (which is 80% Working :))

Alt+Enter is not as good as a minimzer.
If you are playing a match and need to get to desktop to do something alt+enter will make you load the map twice (when you alt_enter again to get to the fullscreen)

A minimizer (like mine and the one I posted) will minimize the window completely while you are in fullscreen mode and will restore to fullscreen mode without reloading the map.

Try it and you will see how much better it really is.

i just keep mine like that in that window, it almost fills the screen except for the litle frame around it but that dont bother me. i dont only use it to get back to desktop easy, but also for some reason when i have it maximized, if i hit start or something pops up in the background then the game goes all dark :? its always been like that for me. but yeah i'm sure most ppl prefer to use a minimizer
