CoD8, Modern Warfare 3, Space Warfare :S

Usually around this time of year it gets announced about what we can expect to see in the next installment of the franchise.
But ive heard things from Star wars & CoD combined from the studio of (Sledgehammer games) & MW3 by IW coming out in the same year.

i know it seems kind of pointless and "sad" wondering about it now, but im just curious.

Well I am interested in what Sledgehammer is pulling off.

But MW3 ? No way, with so many staff gone I doubt it will be any good.

i dont think Repawn will make a CoD because those guys who pissed on activision are there.

and apparently IW are going to make a MW3 if they get more staff in.

From what I've read, sledgehammer games are making a CoD this year, but they stated "Its not going to be like the other CoDs, we're putting our own twist on it" <-- Something like that anyway. I also read that its not part of the offical CoD series, more like a sort of `one-off` different style of game.

And I also read that IW are making the next proper game in the CoD series, to be released around November 2011 (I didn't see anywhere if it said its another Modern Warfare, or back to WWII etc).

They will make a MW3.
And the CoD made by Sledgehammer will still have the same engine just wont be huge like the rest, Could be good for Jumping.

Well I wouldn't mind finishing the SP. MW2 SP is without a doubt the best SP in all of CoD.

I have heard that the sledgehammer games version, will be a MMO FPS, which could be interesting. MW3 is also rumoured (leaked by someone who leaked things that turned out to be true with MW2 and COD4) to be about Ghost from MW2's backstory and how the war in CoD4 started.

It Won't be back to WWII, because IW didn't make CoD WAW, that was treyarch, who are out of the picture all together

You are wrong. It could possibly be WWII or MW3 because CoD2 and im pretty sure CoD1 were both developed by IW.
As much as people might hate IW, before them the only known FPS games before CoD4 (modern warfare) were all WWII (except maybe a battlefield game) so we have something to thank them for
