Cant get my computer above 60fps...

Post by EvilAequitas » August 14th, 2005, 7:34 am

I cant seem to get my computer to go higher than 60fps even after changing the max fps. I just got a geforce 7800, an amd 64 x2 4200 processor, and 1.5 gigs of ram. Im pretty sure that is capable of doing more than 60fps so i was wondering if there is any setting i can change in my config besides the max fps that would help my situation. Thanks.

Go to options ---> performance and set sync every frame off
or type /r_swapinterval 0 in console

Also - Ctrl-Alt-Del and go to Processes then right click on CoDMP.exe and set priority to AboveNormal :D this boosts your fps by like 30-40 frames :D 8) But only use it if you only have CoD running otherwise other programs start to lag a little like TS or xfire ;\

Yep, that would work but personally, if I'm not using TS or Xfire, then Im usually listening to music.
