Black ops fps

i got b.o. since yesterday but how the fuck could they fuck up the engine that we now have worse graphix and less fps i got 70/120 fps with a i7 4GB 1600mhz and HD5770 1GB.

are there any commands to get more out of it, my first treyarch game and my last to bad its stuck on my steam account shit treyarch

There's a bug with the FPS in this game, it's still not fixed to its fullest...

You should've played the first day till a week or so. It was so horrible I stopped playing after 30 mins. The FPS lag was so terrible it felt as if you were playing a game your PC can't handle. There's still problems though, the occasional lagspike every so often. I still lost count how many times I died because the game decided to lag me out in a 1v1 fight

Because your playing on like 1920 resolution :S

I'm making do with 1024x720 at the moment and my fps is like 70 which is fairly smooth, with still good enough resolution for me.

changing the resolution dont work for me. Even if i play in windowed mode i allways get similar FPS. 50-60 while i look forward - 150 ground/sky. Also tweaking doesnt help. I could live with 60 FPS stable ;( I rather lagfree gaming than high FPS

It's not a graphics thing...why can't people understand that. Altering the settings really doesn't improve the issue. I run it at 2048x1152, but it's no better on lowest res. That's not explaining why the FPS is so bad, when CoD4 is so many times better for FPS.

It may because its recording every game for theatre mode in the background. Dont know how much this affect the FPS.
Another weird thing are pings on scoreboard. They refresh really really fast what may cause to much server-requests(i mean it may cause soem problems on client side . Also when i look at the ping-variations i have there like 5 other people with exactly the same variation. Thats really weird.

I've tried many of the apparent fixes, including copying your CoD4 config, but still no luck. Hope they sort it out soon.

It is a game issue, stop trying to solve a problem you do not have, treyarch (maybe Valve-Steam) have the problem, let them solve it.

The issue seems to be for everybody, so if they are looking at just some certain graphics cards it won't be fixed for everyone with that patch. And I got a higher fps on lower res for sure, maybe that was naturally because my graphics card isn't good enough for that resolution.

The issue is definitly not for everyone, there are many people saying they do not have the problem.

I don't have any FPS issues luckily. The occasional spike sometimes but any fix regarding FPs they bring out is a good patch (If it solves the problem ).
