CoD2 on pc with gamepad

Post by <LT>YosemiteSam[NL] » October 6th, 2010, 3:52 pm

In a few weeks we have a LAN-party and a friend of mine wants to play CoD2 (Unreal Tournament as well) with a gamepad.
Is this even possible ? If so can I use my PC-Xbox360 controller for that purpose ?

With a programm called XPadder you can bind keyboard-inputs to gamepad-buttons

Well, as cod2 already has some rumble threads in it, it should be easy.
Just connect and see what happens, maybe rebind keys after you backed up original config file

Then again, shooters suck when using gamepads, bring a mouse&keyboard (and a spare for your friend :))

Its not a glitch... Its the future!

Lol I already did.

I did that last time and he wasn't that bad with it (he plays on PS3 only so that's why he likes gamepads more). But I want to prove a point and show him how different it plays and how it sucks when playing with a gamepad.
I'll try hooking it up to my pc let's see what happends.
