They may not be doing it now, they may even be the last to do it, but I would happily place money on the eventual charge for Valve DLC.
Now, there are some small things to point out which seperate this DLC from others:
- It is user content and the creater gets a cut of the sale
- Most items are not exclusive paid DLC items, they can be crafted or randomly found
- There are a few items which are exclusive, but they are only cosmetic
BUT, no matter how much you sugar coat the good points, the fact is, Valve are now doing what a lot of people said they would never do, and that is sell additional content.
