The price is a little outta range for people. I get that. But any average joe wont break the shit (Caution: it WILL blend), easy to upgrade. Software that is. I never see myself getting a PC laptop again. I had one and it was shit. Now a real PC is different. My desktop PC basically has testicles. But that's another story. You wont have to deal with Microsoft's bullshit. Anything that's wrong is user error. So basically if you can use handle your PC atm you wont have a problem ever with your mac. There are a few things that i wouldn't recommend purchasing through apple like Microsoft office. And if your budget allows you go for a macbook pro. I have the standard macbook and after 2 years regret not getting the bigger screen. Trust me, you'll wanna be able to run a browser window and an office tool next to it at the same time.

dont listen to infi's propaganda!

And I don't get everything with an apple logo on it. You said yourself that they make good products and they are user friendly. What else do you want? Why would their marketing and company whatnots matter?

Im just suggesting that going to college, having a PC already, getting a more work oriented and easy to use computer would be a good thing.

Hey guys, thought I'd drop by.

Macs are only more work oriented if 'work oriented' means over-simplified, over-hyped, over-priced, over-rated garbage.

Alright, cya.
