The reason why is because i only just started playing pc like 3 days ago and i cannot get used to the mouse and keyboard its just to hardKillerSam wrote:I am almost 100% sure it's just you.iTz_JVIaNiiC wrote:I just want to now because i want to find out if any really good people strafe with a wired xbox 360 controller on pc so i now if it is possible to do big strafes with an xbox controller.
Why on earth would you want to do that? are you trolling?
Mouse + Keyboard = million times better for jumping than 360 controller. It's like eating soup with a fork...don't do it.

Oh, ok then i will try and get used to the mouse and keyboardKillerSam wrote:Just practice then to be honest.
An average PC gamer will totally destroy a professional 360 gamer due to the difference in controls. You can't possibly hope to be good at jumping using a 360 controller.

Ok i will do that and see if that helps meKillerSam wrote:My suggestion would be...complete the single player CoD4 game and by the end of it, controls will be second nature to you.iTz_JVIaNiiC wrote:Oh, ok then i will try and get used to the mouse and keyboardKillerSam wrote:Just practice then to be honest.

I agree.
My advice would be not to use the standard "wasd" control configuration.
Experiment with different controls and find out what works best for you.
I have a special gamepad but before that I used the whole numpad as controls, worked fine for me.

No problem m8.
Numpad is the whole keyset on the right of your keyboard;
num
lock / * -
7 8 9 +
4 5 6 +
1 2 3 enter
0 0 . enter

You can change em in what ever you like m8.
It's what works best for you. Like I said before experiment with different controles a bit.

I am left handed so the numlock thing probably would be okay for me but if anyone has any suggestions for what i should use i am more than happy to listenKillerSam wrote:I wouldn't use numpad simply because (assuming mouse is on the right of numpad) your hands will be very bunched up then. Standard controls with a few alterations ftw.

I used to move my keyboard way to the left. Since I don't have room to do that anymore I bought a gamepad for my left handKillerSam wrote:I wouldn't use numpad simply because (assuming mouse is on the right of numpad) your hands will be very bunched up then.
