Ipod touch Burning smell

Ipod touch Burning smell
I was wondering if any of you guys have smelt a burning smell comming from the ipod. Mine is the 2nd gen and i read that it gets hot when charging because of its curved back but should i smell burning. I dont know if i should return it?

Mine only gets hot if i charge and use it at the same time, i got 3G tough, never smell something tough.
