Many people also state that a bounce is new which was previously done with RPG and now without. For some people it might seem 'new' but for me it's just the same bounce without some tool. Now if you can effectively use that RPG you saved later in those jump series to reach a new spot, I'll be impressed (Remember the 2 RPG rule).

I doubt that. it's more the other way around.

But as far as I can remember there's atleast 1 major jump found on consoles before the PC. That's in Strike, bouncing from the balcony on that part where the tree is. That one eventually led to that very high Strike roof done by Dan and Evil Warrior ??

I am not really sure who to agree with on this I name a bounce as "new" for views but I put in description new to console just so you get less people moan about the fact they have seen it before on pc. Yes you could say it's old no matter what but the fact that on pc you get up to 333 fps makes it that so much easier you could probably do half of it backwards strafing.

I know that on pc you have your limits the same as we do on console like someone said before you have them near to impossible freeze stacks and some crazy hard bounces then on console we have crazy hard bounces and strafes but on pc would be considered that someone who has just started jumping could most likely do the bounce or strafe. I think for one to say it's new to console is up to them you can't really state a fact of a bounce over a game I mean you can but it all seems abit sad if you ask me it's just a matter of opinion most pc gamers say it's old no matter what because they have never really tried doing jumps on a console or even played a console so you don't really know how hard it is for some people to pull off a certain jump like the downpour bounce rughead did you don't feel the same just saying downpour bounce it just seems all that much better calling it new downpour bounce. But hey that's just my opinion

Because it's the same game. And PC has superior controlls over the consoles. It's just impossible that console has jumps PC players can't do.

There jumps you cant do on PC coz of its different clipping. E.g. Crossfire jumps/Car-Bounce at Defend-Spawn.

Hmm, I don't know. What does classify a bounce as new in general? A video of it posted on youtube or the knowledge of its existence by some people? For me the knowledge of it, but if it has to be on youtube then fair enough this bounce is 'new' on ps3. However, this bounce, on the game Call of Duty 4, is old, doesn't matter whenever PC or PS3 was the platform used, on the game COD4 this bounce is indeed old. You can't really say that it's new on PS3 and old on PC, that's not how it works. Because of the fact that this bounce has been already done on one platform(PC) and videos of it have been around I'm sure someone did try it out on another platform(PS3) and succeeded because as you showed us, it's possible. I know the on PC we can do more bounces than on PS3 because of our ability to change the FPS but the fact that you did succeed in bouncing on that spot makes this equal to PC therefore old to PS3 as well. I'd say you cannot redo a "PC bounce" on PS3 and call it new to PS3. I guess you could say that it's new to youtube, but still, for me and for many others the word 'new' doesn't fit in here.
