In regard to the other two points:
Loading while on the ground does not inforce a time penalty, however loading mid-air will. This penalty is only 0.05 seconds long and hardly interrupts the flow. Consider this, I recently created a dumbed down version with no load restricting settings, removing time penalties and ground checks, the result was that you load and when you land are uanble to move for a second or sometimes two, because of the level of damage caused.
As for the trigger_hurts... This is tough luck. It was due to poor coding on my behalf in the first place that trigger_hurts were still working for as long as they were. Through testing, a small error in code would allow a player to take damage from the trigger_hurt for a few seconds after touching it before the "kill" finally happens. I fixed the code in essence removed some of the most annoying features mappers have been using to ruin their own maps with...
Mappers still wanting to use these triggers, can simply script a trigger_multiple to do the same thing...
