You mean the style ?

You could nadejump in MoH:AA. Also, in the earlier version of MoH you could stack. But that's a lot easier compared to stacking in CoD4. In MoH:AA a player was like a box. You could stand on them without issues and could basicly create huge human ladders. Was patched later though.

I really loved exploring maps in MoH:AA because there weren't a lot of people exploiting the maps at that time and there was no online website or whatever to get advice.

I dunno how CS stacking works but if a player is like a solid object you won't slide off, then yes.

Stacking is allways a cool way to jump. i dont think we will see cool features like strafejumping and bouncing in next gen engines. But stacking and nadejumping probably. At least if they wanna build realistic engines in shootergames every explosion should give u a boost

Not to mention kill you in the process.

Not entirely keen on DICE doing the MP aspect of it, given that I didn't like the 'feel' of BFBC2, but hopefully it is good!

Mirror's Edge wasn't really a FPS game like the MoH or CoD series, so can't really compare.

And as you know, I've always hated the way the proper combat felt in the BF series (particularly BF2, hence I mainly used vehicles/aircrafts when playing the game.)

I know what you mean. BC2 doesn't move as smooth as CoD4 or MW2.

But I've grown used to it. Still prefer how CoD moves though.

A well designed sequel will 'feel' like the original though. Other than the plot, which is all but absent in Call of Duty games, the feel is what your series is based on. As soon as you do away with that it can hardly be considered of the same series. Starcraft II is a good example of a game that boosts graphics, gameplay, intensity, and complexity but still feels like the same game.

That's why C&C4 sucks so much. It's a completely different game and I can easily see that the budget for the cinematics is extremely low compared to C&C3. I've finished the GDI campaign, but man, that game is shit...
