hi i just got codtools and when i start it up i get this error if u can help please do

You need to reinstall you Call of Duty and then install the mod tools. Most likely there are some registry entries missing.

It's in cod4 mapping help so I take it you want to install codtools for cod4. The ones you have right now are for cod1, download the ones for cod4 here:
