FPS Help!
Hey,
I'm having trouble getting to 333 FPS and I'm not sure what it is whether I need to upgrade or change my settings...
My System::
Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Intel(R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz
2.40 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM
ASUS AH4650 Graphics Card
Any Suggestions ?
BTW
MY CURRENT BUDGET IS £0.00. IN OTHER WORDS IM SKINT.... BUT IT WOULD PROBS BE LIKE £100 TO £150

lol go download yitch3.cfg and type in cod4 console then exec yitch3.cfg and thas it now u should get better fps!

Your processor seems out-dated.
I'd buy a new processor and 1gb extra memory (from 2 to 3).
Make sure your motherboard has enough space on it. Your power supply must also be strong enough.
Those are important basics which you can't go without. Else you can't get full power out of your gfx card either.
Your graphics card should be fine, though.

The thing is, I find Windows 7 a bit expensive compaired to what you pay for hardware. But I'd definitely buy it, if it's within your budget.

New processor (Core2Duo). Operating system not necessary, memory not necessary. The problem is, though, with a new processor you'd probably need a new motherboard.

The others are right, your g card seens fine, but i'd think about a new proccesser and defintly more ram.

Also in such cases it's smart to provide your budget so people on these forums can help you even better
