Stop donated servers?

I think it's a good idea to temporaily stop accepting donated servers. As you say, we have more than enough already.
Nevertheless, if there is a donator who wants to donate a CoD2 server which also works for the majority, I'd accept it.

Not really on topic, but relating to KS' screenie - On my CoD4 if I have the filter settings to show every server, only say 4000 or so will show out of the 12000+ on 1.7. For example I think the only CJ servers I can see on my list are #1 and #9. If I add the custom IP to favourites it will show on my favourites..but still not on the main server list.

Anyone know the problem? Do I need to open some more ports on my router or something?

I dunno why Madness but maybe because those 2 servers you listed aren't running custom maps ? Just pure guessing, probably miles off anyway.

Na I can see others with custom maps, but thanks for trying to help. Initally I thought that because there was so many servers on 1.7 it would only show like 3000 random ones, but seems like other people can see all servers =/

Well i think maybe we can make the donated servers list longer and put on more servers, thats juss my opinion.

Imo it would be good to stop accept servers temp. But only for cod4 then, I would still accept servers for the other cod-series.

On a related topic, what do people think about potentially switching #1 and the promod server (i.e. promod server goes from 12 slots to 16 slots and #1 goes from 16 to 12).

I'd have to go with not switch as well. With my experience server 1 is incredibly popular, and I see it full quite a bit. If we switch them around it will cause confusion and possibly make people stop coming back to the server in general. I agree we need to find a way to promote the promod server, but I think that would be a poor solution.
