Mercury Skies

:D
It's done. After scraping various ideas, and getting frustrated with various people and software, I guess I can finally call this done to some degree. I was planning on making this at least 4-5 minutes long, and with a lot more clips/editing time, but since I was getting random bursts of inspiration followed by long bursts of demotivation, I decided to make it short and sweet and just release it. I could have definitely made this better, but I just wanted to finally release it, rather than work on it for a day then not work on it for a month. Starring: Matty, Quirked (Innkeeper), Hoogie, myself (was planning to add many more clips of myself since they were good ones, but I had to cut most of them out D:)

I feel like the selection of kills could have been a bit better, and it felt a bit over-edited in spots. Otherwise it was great though.

The music was poor imo, but the music sync with the effects was nice. I felt it was a little low-quality even with playing as HD?
Text requires a font other than arial/helvetica. I enjoyed the kills, makes a change from seeing only no-scope/hip shots in every video. And obviously, it was rather short :)

Only used Arial for the ending because I made it fast, but all the other text wasn't Arial or Helvetica.

Also, what do you mean by low-quality when playing in HD? That's the first comment I've had about something such as that :S

At some points, indeed real nice syncing. But where you put relatively so much work in some editing, the earlier transitions felt not done. Not smooth. Ie, where you go from introducing 'Infinite Productions' to the first scene. That transition should be worked on. There were some more.

Good job anyhow. :)

I thought the frags were absolutely incredible, by far some of the best I've ever seen.

This.

I thought the music was fine, and it was very entertaining. I'll upload it to the CJ YouTube channel if you want to provide me download details for the video file :) I decided a while ago that I would start allowing frag movies from members of the community on the YouTube channel (hence Matty's video recently).

Nice :D
Didn't find it overedited whatsoever. Liked the names on the guns :)

You could have made it a clear that the kills were mostly 1vs..
Like the strike one with the +10 is a 1v4 and the +10 scope with the aku kill is a 1v3.

Still really awesome editing.

Pretty sure noone will have a problem with it being on the Codjumper channel as we are all a user of Codjumper.

After watching again, the only scene that looked bad was the first flying around. I am guessing some blur was in use, because it just made everything low quality.
As for the fonts, it was hard to make out the fonts during the (annoying) repeating words part of the song 'go'... I personally just wouldv'e not bothered with the words appearing on screen (more the 'go' than the 'stop this')

I know credits don't mean alot to people, but if you are going to put effort into the background and effects, you may aswell do something with the text.

I found it ok, but personally I'm not really that much into frag movies. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate them though.

Yeah, the Hoogie 1vs4(or 5) wasn't very obvious and the whole suspense of getting the 1v4/5 was somewhat ruined by the editing.

I wouldn't imagine anyone would be against it, just a matter of getting Infinite to give me a download link if he's happy for me to put it up!

If Infinite does allow this maybe we could put some more movies on the account. I remember a couple of CJ guys who made some frag movies themselves.
