Rofl, did he succeed the 4th time or gave up?

To my knowledge and limited research. Jackie Chan failed TWICE during that scene. The third attempt I believe was done by 'Mars', his stunt partner (and often his stunt double)

Just for reference, Jackie Chan did NOT do all of his own stunts, many stunts were performed by a double, especially in his newer movies (one man can only endure so much )

His fight scenes however are awesome, especially City Hunter!

Oh i heard he did them all on his own. Thought thats were he is so known for.
Anyway still he did enough ^^
I would probally have used my double aswell after 2 or 3 falls from the same stunt xD

anyways soon in 2010 he is going to realese Armour of God 3 can't wait to see Writter/Producer/Director/Cast by him =o so it might be epic movie for he's 55 Age

But yea, from certain age on, it gets weaker.
