xmodel problem :S

Can anybody help me with xmodels cuz when i put tree or whatever is only red box!!! help me plzz -.- :cry: :cry: :cry:

erm.. u need to go to misc models ad then prefabs ... then u get a model !

Wrong, you need to extract the xmodel folder from iw_13.iwd somewhere, then right click on 2d->misc->model and brose to the xmodel folder you extracted.

Also bear in mind it'll show up as a box in Radiant unless you change the 'View Entities as' setting (one of the buttons along the top, looks like an uppercase letter E).

The E is the way entities are rendered(wireframe, with or without box etc.). This setting is set to show entities on default. There's also a crossed out E which, when selected makes all of the entities in the map un-selectable.
