Cod 4 pc

Hey guys i just got cod 4 for pc. im not new to glitching on pc just because i only play console but when i load the game i get menus and stuff like start new server or join server and i really have no idea wat to do. so much different then mw2 and im confused. Maybe a little guidance. oh yes and also console isnt working when i press enter, Thanks guys,.

you press the top left button ( ` ) and it sdhould work, if not go to the controls and multiplayer controls (something liek that) or options, and enable it.

im sorry i missworded it. U didnt understand me. I meant when i type in console commands they arent working. ANd i cant connect to servers when i press refresh list under join game i try to connect and it just keeps saying connectiong to server, How do i connect to ur guys servers. Im just a little confused with this games setup.

Your probally have to download all the patches, when you start the game what number does it say at the bottom right?

Well instead of going question by question in this topic, I'm going to give/tell you each step to connect to our servers.

Step 1. Download the 1.7 Patch for CoD4 (if you haven't already.) Here is the link: http://www.filefront.com/10829906/Call- ... 1.7-Patch/

Step 2. Open your CoD4 > Go To Options > Game Options > Enable Console > Yes

Step 3. Go to CoDJumper.com and highlite an ip and copy it.

Step 4. Go back to CoD4 and press the (~) key. Above Tab.

Step 5. Type this in your console "/connect 1.1.1.1:28960", without the (") of course.

Step 6. ENJOY! Hope this helped.

*Note* If you are using your phone line for interenet, you will not be able to connect to any servers. Good luck.

edit: ok i got the patch and i can join most servers. last question is how to use custom skins and the codjumper mod. i put the skins in the main folder but it didnt work. When i try to connect to servers it downloads all the stuff and then just does setting up game for ever,

Well do you want your own skins in public? If so, go to youtube.com and search "How to use cod4 skins in public". Hope i helped u out man!

let me rephrase wat i said. I would like to have my own skins in private match. And whenever i try to connect to servers it starts downloading mods and stuff and maps. And then goes forever on setting up game, Wheres the find match thing like in all the other cods and on cod 4 x box.

Ugh, ok this is how you do it.

Step 1. Get your skin.

Step 2. Go to your activison folder.

Step 3. Go to mods.

Step 4. Go to modwarfare.

Step 5. Go into images(if there inst an images folder, create a new folder name "images")

Step 6. Put the skin in there.

Step 7. Go back into Modwarfare.

Step 8. Click "makemod.bat"

Step 9. Open up cod4 and load modwarfare

Step 10. Go into your private match and enjoy ur skins.

Well firstly let the stuff downloading, then when it sets up the game, and it doesent load, do /reconnect. Then you should be good to go.

thanks bro now i just need my recording problem. its halfway fixed i just cant open up fraps movies to edit them they dont play without vcl player
