This might seem out of hand. But if you could find me a 300 Watt power supply that is very cheap and would be campatible with my comp. I would like you forever

Yeh, so if the GCard needs 300W, how do you intend to run the rest of your machine?

You need 600 or more...

It depends on how good you are with computers. It will involve taking out the old power supply and putting the new one in, then attaching every single new power cable to the proper place. In all honesty it really isn't that difficult if you just pay attention to what you are doing. Basically, there will be a number of different types of ends on the various power cables. Look for anything that needs power inside your computer and hook up the proper plug for it.

Keep in mind to check as you're detaching the old power supply to look at where things (and what things) are attached in what places. If you take a picture or something before you begin, and simply replicate the attachments the way they were with the previous power supply, you should be fine as long as you remember to plug in the additional 6 pin power source for your graphics card that wouldn't have been used with your old power supply.

If after reading this you take a look inside your computer and have a bit of skepticism, however, don't hesitate in getting some help from someone who knows what they're doing.
