Steam Sales

Post by Pedsdude » January 4th, 2010, 3:05 pm

http://store.steampowered.com/

As most of you probably know, they've been doing sales over the festive period. It's still going on, and for the next (just under) 3 hours you can get some pretty good deals.

GTA IV £4.99 (I've bought :D)
Killing Floor £3.75
L4D2 £20.09
BioShock £3.49
STALKER £2.00

Among other deals.

Oh yes, you made a good point.

But I guess it's possible for me to lend a disk from a friend, just for the install. That would kind of solve the problem, in case it works.

while on the topic of steam, i have a question. i have a game that i got for free when i got my graphics card ages ago. i tried to install it off the provided disk, but for some odd reason it won't install (most likely a defective CD, as it has nothing to do with my PC). what i was wondering was, can i download it and install it using steam if i provide the CD key i got?
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P

Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)

Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

Discussing Marshall's new camera lol^

Yup, if you can get the game into Steam without a cd key, then you add your cd key.

I'm gutted I paid £17 for Killing Floor. You convinced me to buy it and then you stopped playing it!
