how do i change my ingame name and color my ingaME name

how do i open up the console

I don't know if you can color your name, but to change your name you have to change your steam nickname

changing name and color is in the steam nickname. Open up your steam ingame (shift + tab) and change it from there.

colors are the same as cod4 with the ^1-0 system

there is no console in mw2

In your friends list if you right-click your current steam name you get an option to change your name to whatever you like.

It was probably CoD4:MW, not MW2.

MW2 officially has nothing that you want in it. In fact, IW was so determined to make it the worst playing experience possible, they even removed things you wouldn't realize you'd miss until you realized how stupid it was they removed them...like lean. Enjoy your waste of money sir.
