Radians deals with angles and normally coincides with Precal/Trig. I am taking Precal this year (Although I should have been in Calculus AB with my scores :S), and it's quite a fun class (not to mention extremely easy). If you have learned sin^2(Θ) + cos^2(Θ) = 1, and stuff such as that, then you are in the same boat as I am, which is Precal (Trig. functions to be exact).BlueDamselfly wrote:We've done that with triangles last year, studied those sin & cos "rules". We should this year do it with circles (or w/e the radiant is used for).Soviet wrote:That sounds like Pre calculus. Are you dealing with any trig functions, messing with sin, cos, tan and memorizing their coordinates at certain intervals or anything like that?

I agree with Peds, when I took that course I was gutted too.

Believe me, you don't want to be in Calculus AB, it sucksInfinite wrote:Radians deals with angles and normally coincides with Precal/Trig. Re: Hey yo Mr. Scrooge!
Kinda silly but we started learning that kind of stuff (Although I think not as advanced) back when I was in my second year of class. Bit hard to explain but I think I was approx 14-15 years.

Yes, same here. It was indeed around that age.[SoE]_Zaitsev wrote:Kinda silly but we started learning that kind of stuff (Although I think not as advanced) back when I was in my second year of class. Bit hard to explain but I think I was approx 14-15 years.

Well honestly, our system is obviously totaly diferent from yours, I therefore cannot help it, I dunno those annoying names signification.Pedsdude wrote:That's not what he meant(or at least not what I think he meant...)
e.g. e ^ i theta = cos theta + i sin theta
But anyway, in the end I will end up learning everything that you learn anyway, so bah.
Perhaps the math that I am currently learning might be easier than yours atm, but I am taking the best one that are availabe to me.
Anyway, I noticed that maths always are subject to very big conversation in those Cj forums, thats weird, yet cool.

I just finished pre-calc this semester and going on to Calc A next semester... SO not excited

For me, It's not whether I want to be in Calculus. It's whether I want to take AB or BC next yearSoviet wrote:Believe me, you don't want to be in Calculus AB, it sucksInfinite wrote:Radians deals with angles and normally coincides with Precal/Trig.
