Actually, I have changed my opinion of this game. In the 4 hours that I've been playing, I have only had one game truly fuck up on me (the host was a pile of shit and everyone had "1 bar"), but I left and kept on playing different games. I've played maybe 20 games so far, and so far, I'm loving the style of the game. The multiplayer layout and customization is very expanded from what we've seen on CoD4. The matchmaking system works out fairly nicely for casual players, and if you want to play with clan mates, you can make a party and do so very easily. I'm fairly impressed overall with the game. It's very arcadey, and I can see why dedicated servers, mods, and custom maps were not put into the game. If I had the chance to beta test this, I may have even bought it. The pure fact of how they have taken out dedicated servers, mods, maps (in general, custom content), and have plain out destroyed the PC community, disgusts me and I cannot see myself buying this game (or any other IW product) now, or in the near future. Unless a full apology is given by IW, along with the reinstatement of most of what they have taken out, I don't see how anyone who is a true lover of the PC gaming community could pay for this game. Anyways, I am glad that this "MP crack" came out because it gave me a chance to play the game and get a true experience of the MP and what IW.Net is.

Describing a game as "arcadey" just implies it is dumbed down and oversimplified for the casual gaming masses. No mod support = auto crap.

People have stated their views. Nobody is going to give ground in this argument. If you don't want KS and Soviet and them mad at you, then STOP POSTING about how good MW2 is. It doesn't matter whether you like it or not. It doesn't even matter how good the game is. I'm sure the game is good enough and is all fun for a while, but it is so short of it's potential it's ridiculous.

The reason he gets away with it is simple, he waited patiently to let this piece of shit play its course, when this "mp crack" gets shut down (and I believe it will), then from words alone, he will not be buying it.

He has not paid for and still has not given support, you however have been involved with the process of support, money.

I still stand strong on this, 11Gb is a waste of time, space and effort to download to test something I will never have a strong interest in. Mod support is a must for me.

I seriously hope there first map pack cost you all $10...
