For the record, they swore first. I was going to keep it civilized. Also, it isn't an opinion. If you had taken the time to read my post you would have recognized that almost the entire thing was based on statistics and (what I thought before to be) commonly known facts about economics.

And I know that wasn't an opinion. I did actually read it through carefully. And as you might have seen, I agreed with those facts. But my point where you quoted this to, wasn't referring to that. It was referring to your general behaviour on the forums. That's why I didn't use a quote in that post.

The potential joy? One can gain potential joy from anything. That argument is more opinionated and based on less fact than anything I have brought to the table thus far. Jumping was a small part of the game for me in CoD4.

While I may not play professionally a lot, the most fun I ever had was scrimming with Peds, Damsel, KS, and a few others every once and a while, as well as playing with a clan for a while. How am I supposed to scrim with my friends halfway across the world on IW's crappy network? It simply doesn't work. That's not even professional play, that's casual competition. Now sure, I'd still have pubs. However, I wouldn't have favorite servers where I could make friends, fight to be number one on the server, and become well known. Instead I'd be playing with random people every time I logged on only progressing on IW's linear ranking system. So, I'd not only be sacrificing the most fun I had on CoD4, but also the most fun parts about my typical experience on CoD4. It's a lose lose situation.

I also am not going to base whether or not I pay $60 (outrageous by itself) on the prospect that maybe we'll eventually get, one day in the distant future, professional gaming support from a company who just jammed a 20 foot pole up all of our asses (don't deny it, some may have enjoyed being anally penetrated, others may have not even noticed since they're so used to it, but it did happen).

I wasn't making a stand with the jumping community, I was making a stand with the 209,000 people who said they would not buy the game. I don't give a crap about CJ in the long run. Yes, I love CJ, but we all knew it would eventually fade. PC gaming, on the other hand, is an undying and limitless love I have and that is why I am so strongly against MW2, as I've stated dozens of times previously.

Also, I'm not standing by my point, I'm standing by a large number of points which are not opinion, but facts about the economy we live in and the nature of companies. Feel free to stand by your dedication to a corporation who cares about nothing but your money (not an opinion, fact, read previous wall of text), however KS, I, and a few others will choose the side of rationality.

Okay, so you don't like the setup of the game. Don't you think it's selfish to take down CJ with you? You guys should be the ones making the best out of the situation. I can see that many others here with me would still like to see the new jumps getting discovered. If you want it, there will always be a way of sharing that. And I think it's a shame you don't do that. For many there will be no point in returning to these forums then. In that case you would have made them not coming back, while CJ could still go on. And I didn't expect the entire CJ squad to choose gaming over a great community they build up and will miss. But by the time they will realise it, it might be too late. But the priorities of CJ has been made clear. That is a fact.

Wait wait wait, are you chastising me? Surely you can't be serious? "He did it first" is perfectly valid, especially in this instance. If he curses at me I'm going to curse at him, especially if I take it as an insult. If you'll notice I confined it into one paragraph and kept the rest on topic, rational, and to the point. Also, if you agree with my points then there is no debate, unless you actually care about finding jumps in one single FPS over all content in all FPS's present and future.

Lots of mediocre words, however you're a dumbass (oh no! I said a naughty word!) with barely over 100 posts who thinks he knows better than 2 of the oldest members of these forums. When you talk about what may or may not be best for CJ realize who you are talking to. Also realize how many private forums there are that you don't even know about. Every possible consequence and course of action has been thoroughly discussed and all active members are involved.

You can feel free to think it is a shame that we won't be a haven for jumps on a game, however we'll think it's a shame that all of these people have bought the game for the tons of reasons I've mentioned many times. Honestly, at this point I hope some of you don't return to these forums and I know KS feels the same. I, for one, feel betrayed by people I thought were either intelligent, or at least had a bit of common sense.

As for us choosing gaming over MW2, are you insane?! MW2 is one small game in a giant sea of games, it is a single entity that does not live up to our standards, again, for previously stated reasons. I'd rather abandon a whole genre of gaming than one game. That statement makes absolutely no sense.

Sorry our priorities are with the millions of people who like having servers and higher quality games than the typical console shit that gets redone more times than a dead supermodel in a necrophiliacs apartment. Sorry some of us have standards. Sorry we've "abandoned" a few thousand people, quite jumping to conclusions about where the site is or is not going.

And to your response of me thinking I'm better than you just because I have more posts that I'm sure you're thinking about typing, stop. My opinion does matter more because we're talking about CoDJumper's policies, goals, overall views, and future. You telling me what is going on with CJ is like a high school student telling a neurologist how to diagnose his patients. Also, if I wasn't allowing the opinion I would either 1, lock the topic, 2 delete your post, or 3, not care enough to respond. You talk about being so arrogant yet your opinion is based on so little of what actually goes on around here. You're a civilian telling a cabinet member what is going to happen in the executive branch, anyone would scoff at you in my situation.
