Hi. IM on windows 7 32 bit and its pissing me off to the max because every game I play I get a lag spike for like 1/10 of a second every couple of seconds. So i play 2 then a spike play 2 then a spike.
Saw on another forum it may be down to a sound driver or something? What should I do? Someone here on W7 probably experienced it too.
Cheers.

I dont even know what WLAN is lol. And no, now that I DO know I am definately not. But its nothing different than my xp setup so something in windows is causing the lag.

I have Windows 7 32bit and I am running the game fine. Are you experiencing these lag spikes constantly? It may be that the host of your game is a russian with a low-end PC and connection. Try changing your maxpackets in your config_mp to 100 (this MAY only make it worse though since it's P2P.) It smoothened my ping out and lets me be host almost every game I play.

Did you maybe change your router hardware or settings? Maybe reset - really often the QS-Engine in the router can cause such problems.

nah its the old cod 2 - not mw2. so Im playing on dedicated servers, with roughly 40-60 ping, and I'm getting this problem on not just cod 2 but also Counter strike source. Want to get this fixed because I ordered battlefield 2 and it's here tomorrow.

Will the Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade work for computers with Mac software? I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer right now. It was pre-loaded on the machine. I'd like to upgrade it to Windows 7. I am also planning on buying a Mac. Will I be able to load the Windows 7 upgrade version on that also? Thanks in advance for your help.
