UGH cant believe what dedicated game stores get away with. £45 for mw2. Disgusting when bloody morribobs and tesco and sainsburys get it out for £26. Game shops = only good for hardware IMO.

Very little profit is made by supermarket chains (i.e Asda) by selling at £26, this is the hook.
There was a line of over 300 people (at least) when my brother went with his mate last night (12 release).
If companies such as Game, Gamestation, etc did not sell at the standard prices, their profits would be minimal.
Companies are not here to simply serve you, they are here to make money, supermarkets make their money from everyday items and they are currently using one-off deals to get you to walk through their doors.
How many of you when you get a new game to chill out and play, also buy some drink and munchies?
And maybe, while you are in their stores buying the game at minimal profits, think about maybe grabbing tomorrows dinner, etc.

True. I just find it crazy how theres such a BIG difference in price. If people buckled up and understood things a bit better (such as parents who have no idea) then game shops wouldn't be needed.
I bet over the next few years they die out a lot and the supermarkets become the new game sellers.

Well PC games are getting quite hard to find now actually. PC World sell about half as many games as they did 3 years ago. ASDA no longer sell PC Games, and the Gamestation in Birmingham (2 floors - massive stoor) doesn't sell PC games either. PC gaming is a dying thing for sure.
I agree. I think a lot of it is with the CD Key issues and such, its much easier to just buy the game code online and download it. I think steam and suchlike programs are only going to rise in popularity but buying physical copies will end soon. As soviet just mentioned.

Put the game in a 360 I bet it will work, all the game needs to do is detect your using a 360 and remap the controls. All bs aside, the game might still be fun to play, I'm picking it up in a few hours.

back to the original topic, I read this review and thought it was well done. It covers about half of what I wanted to know about the game (regarding MP, lag, and fps) and it's a decent length, meaning that he actually put some time into it rather than just saying "NO DEDI SERVERS = LAG!".
