Avidemo 1fps bug help

Post by bennieboy777 » September 14th, 2009, 3:16 am

Hey everyone.

I have made several videos recently with avidemo. but the thing is, it takes about 10 minutes to record 20-30 seconds of actual video. Someone told me im getting the "1 fps bug".

Is there any confirmed ways to fixing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you recording in windowed mode or full screen? From what I could find during my very brief search just now, that seems to potentially affect it.

How fast is your computer? If you're recording at too high a rate then it will inevitably grind your PC to a halt. If you want to record more frames per second then try using '/timescale x' (where x is a very low number, e.g. 0.1) to slow down the playback and then record at avidemo 20 or 30.

Shouldn't do, I'm on 32-bit Vista and it works fine for me (albeit slow, but it's meant to be slow...).
