The only side effects most anti depression medications have are more severe symptoms of depression, whereas long term use of drugs like marijuana can cause a number of completely unrelated side effects that do not go away after you stop taking the drug.
Marijuana does absolutely nothing for people who are depressed. It is a false sense of happiness that goes away with the high. There are no positive chemical changes in the brain.
I don't need to try drugs to know they are bad. I know dozens of people who smoke marijuana. I know quite a few who also do more intense things like ecstasy. All of them still have the same (if not more) emotional issues than I do, the only difference is they are also harming their long term health. If you want to have fun buy a skateboard. If you want to be social find some friends and talk to them. If you want to have a good chance of messing up your life and waste time, money, and most likely your health then do drugs.
It does help for depression

It's also a great method of decreasing rematism (spelling?). Me smoking marijuana has nothing to do with my emotional state of life, and I don't know why you keep bringing it up.
Look, you're trying to compare the fun with riding a skateboard and smoking pot. It just doesn't work. It's not the same type of "fun".
I'm an active skateboarder since I was 9 and I can tell you that there's not many things that are more fun than skating. Marijuana can not be compared to the fun as it has nothing to do with it. Also, you can be social in thousands of different ways. One of them is to smoke that magic herb and chill together.
Since marijuana would be probably as cheap as cigarettes when it's legalized, I wouldn't "waste" my money. In fact, I would like to rewrite that to "spend".
Once again I have to tell you that smoking is next to harmless for most people. There are probably some people that are completely fucked up mentally and are not supposed to smoke, but if they can't figure that out, it's their own fault.
99,9% of my friends have no clue that I have this opinion about marijuana or tried it, since they see me as the smart kid who does good in school, life etc. The truth is that I am very openminded, and that's one of the biggest reasons that I changed my opinion about marijuana.
Also to know that marijuana isn't "dangerous" you need to be semi-smart and know the facts about it
Which of these do you think is LEAST dangerous to your mind and your body?
1. Marijuana
2. Alcohol
3. Tobacco
The answer is pretty obvious, but I still want to see if someone is stupid enough to give me the answer that I am not looking for
