Movie Config

Post by Infinite » August 11th, 2009, 12:19 am

I'm making a movie config for myself, and I wanted to know what I should add in it. This is what I have so far. Feel free to comment on ANYTHING about it as long as you give constructive criticism about it :D.

For starters, Fog is disabled, the Light tint was changed to make it more blue-ish (I haven't seen a single person make it look more blue than it already is in a movie config >.>), the specular effects were made to be a little bit shinier, and the dust particles (dust clouds) were removed. I did a few other things, but I'd rather not list them all.

sounds good

theres a few things to rember tho. In demos only the f buttons work (f1 f2.....) The next thing is to remember that every map is diffrent so it's a good idea to have some things you can vary (ex /bind f3 toggle r_lighttweaksunlight 0.8 1 1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.0) also a thing that resets is the sunlight so even if you go and tweaks like you want in devmap and then play demo the sunlight will reset to the maps defult setting. Also remeber to save a bind for scripts (like 360 thirdperson spin) and one for recording (ex bind f1 toggle cl_avidemo 200 0) perhaps some binds for thirdperson.

Good luck

it's a script. Which works like thirdpersonangle changes by like 0.5 and then like wait 1 and another change and so on.

Added in a few more commands such as r_blur and made the shadows have a higher "quality" (the closer they are = the higher the quality)

I agree about the blur, I like sharper images. Also, yes, a darker image like Bog.
