best recorder?
whats the best recording software for games that doesnt take up alot of ur FPS... all i know is xfire, frapps, and gamecam.. which is the best if any of these are if not what is?

200 is somewhat overkill. I tend to use 30, although if you want slow mo bits then perhaps extend it to 100 (or a more convenient number for your requirements).matt101harris wrote:but some people use /cl_avidemo 200
I've used cl_avidemo in all of the videos I've made, The President used FRAPS in all of his.
It's down to personal preference, really.

Basic videos will suffice with 30 but I am sure people who want to make awesome editable movies will want a higher number.
The higher the number the more frames per second you movie can be based on.

Most movie makers i no use at least 130. But the mojority use 200.

The more images, the more frames per second can be produced.
The more frames per second the higher the quality of video produced (uncompressed obviously)
If you have a lot of frames you can get very slow motion style videos with no choppiness.
