1.5 is now live!
If anyone care
http://www.filefront.com/14063535/
It's however a very big file. =/ ( 975 mb )
PC Patch 1.5:
•CO-OP hosts can now kick players from their lobby
•Improved dog spawning in MP
•Addressed an issue with Zombie pathing
•Fixed an instance of the player model displaying incorrectly
•Some unhandled exception errors have been addressed
•Improved server browser’s refresh functionality when the Source is set to ‘Favorites’
•Added support for CODTV
•“cg_DrawFPS 1†now only displays FPS and cg ms/frame
•Added RCon command "teamstatus" to display players’ team information
Additionally, the following Modding items have been addressed – modders take note:
•Mods: Added joinsquad script function
•Mods: Players can now join CO-OP lobbies that are hosting map names with more than eighteen characters
•Mods: Users can now load custom maps when the usermaps folder contains fifty or more custom maps
•Mods: Removed the loading of duplicate assets that contributed to the ‘2048 materials’ error
•Mods: Increased the amount of mods displayable in the Mods menu
•Mods: Fixed a crash related to the mod.arena file
Hey PC fans,
I just wanted to give a brief update to let you know that Map Pack 2 will be included in Patch 1.5!
It’s in test right now, and is looking great – I will have more information next week.
Regards,
-JD
Have fun.

Already uninstalled....
•CO-OP hosts can now kick players from their lobby
A bit too late I think.
•Added support for CODTV
What is CODTV?
Some very useless things fixed in that Patch. Who has 50 custom maps in his folder? CODTV?! What is cg ms/frame for anyways?

I assume you mean CoD4?
Anyway, I agree with you. Compared to most other games in the genre, it's very good, but compared to what I'm used to (the Game of the Year worthy previous CoD games) it's not as good.
Currently downloading the patch, taking ages as a result of the filesize and my average connection (as well as the fact that I think Tiscali are restricting my download speed during peak times these days). I look forward to playing the new maps, but considering the previous 'new' maps, I'm not getting my hopes up for many jumps.

As for the Patch download speed, I found that Fileshack is giving about 800kb/s for free, thats the fastest I could find. Filefront was around 100kb/s for me.

Yea, filefront sucks and, frankly, anyone who works for them is a complete jerk.

I am confused now though. This is the 1.5 patch according to you Damsel. And it's said that 1.5 will have new maps. So this is 1.4 ?

This is 1.5 and it has 4 new maps (one of which is zombie).
As expected, Treyarch went ridiculously overboard with the clip and clipped practically everything, including harmless barrels and objects at knee height. Well played for ruining the realism completely. I don't mind them restricting majorly exploitative jumps such as out of maps, but when they just clip seemingly innocent objects and don't bother to design the map in such a professional way so as to realistically block an area, they're taking the piss. I'll never buy another Treyarch game again.
I'm just glad that Robert Bowling is taking a more realistic approach (or at least has said that IW do), and aren't completely against blocking jumping itself, more just the unfair advantage jumps, which is fair enough. Having said that, I hope someone finds a really easy, exploitative jump in the latest patch for World at War just to annoy Treyarch.

Yep, I remember, for anyone who plays CSS etc, think of Source TV, it's a BIG deal for CoD.

I just checked the maps out and I am amazed by how awesome the maps look like (Specially Banzai). The amount of detail on these maps is impressive.
They are also heading the right way. The maps are smaller than Nightfire (I think all of them). It's a pity that the gameplay sucked. Combine CoD4 gameplay with some of the smaller CoD5 maps and there would've been a much better game. Sadly it's not the case. I won't play this game, but it's cool to check out the maps. And seriously... again, Banzai is really looking fantastic.
