sound and megui?

I tryed using cl_avidemo alot latly and it has been going ok but now i want to add some sound how i do that? I have a song and my uncompressed avi vid and i want to compress the vid and merge the song with it. Anyone wanna help me with it?

Use a program such as Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker (clearly the former is better, but the latter is free and requires less experience).

Actually i use sony vegas for the edeting but then i render as uncompressed and then encode with megui. However when i include sound in the uncompressed avi file from vegas and try to encode it to .mp4 (x264) i lose the sound. I did however found
a solution to this as megui have some sort of muxer thing that you can use.

u have to render an uncompressed avi (without sound) in vegas and render ur sound as mp3...
then create an mp4 with ur avi in megui and when ur done u must use yamb to join ur mp4 and mp3

really? worked great for me with megui's built in muxer
