Save Position mod

hello codjumper.i have a prob with this mod(save position).i put the mob in the main folder.then where do i have to write the seta_scr saveposition "1",i cant find the config_mp.cfg.i found one in the profiles nad i added the command.then when i try to make the server it says "iwd sum/name mismatch".i read an another topic here and someone said to play in codjumper gametype.how to i do this.

dunno which cod your about, but it should be g_gametype dm ( but if its cj i guess its g_gametype cj ) anyway gl, not rly sure about it anyway.

The iwd sum/name mismatch error tends to happen when you've got too many mods and one or more are interfering. Move all of the mods in your 'main' directory out (make sure you don't remove the files that come with the game), and then try again.


If that fails, do this:

- Remove ALL mods from your "main" directory (this includes mod folders in your main).
- Download this, unzip. Place "zzz_Save_position_mod_V1.0.iwd" in your "main" directory.
- Open "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\players\Pedsdude" (change 'Pedsdude' to whatever your Profile name is).
- Open "config_mp.cfg", and add "seta scr_saveposition 1" at the bottom, then save file.
- Load CoD2 MP.
- Open console and type "/g_gametype codjumper", then press enter.
- Open console again and load any map you want, e.g. "/map mp_carentan".

Hopefully, that should have worked. If it still has errors then let us know what happens / what the error/s is/are.
