Why is CoDJumper against software piracy anyway? I don't if it's classed as a "crime" in the UK, but in Sweden we talk about it in the open just as if there was no such thing as software piracy.

Also, it is not your job to keep your website free from links to these copyrighted software, nor can you be punished in any way.

I'm just curious.

It's a crime. Server is US based, therefore is illegal.
(Which begs the question, why the fuck are our servers US based?)

I see where you are coming from, trust me :P, but why cause unnecessary trouble for CJ?, sure the chances of CJ actually getting into trouble for a link to some warez isn't very high, but why take the risk?, stick to your warez forums.

Download all you want. Just pretend you buy it, don't say you downloaded it.

If I am completely honest, I buy most of my games. And I don't buy a lot of games. Only got a handful. Unlike Soviet, he got shitloads :P

Maybe he respects the hard work developers put into games and wants to reward the PC gaming industry by not letting it succumb to piracy and fall to shitty console gaming?

There were perhaps one or two instances in the past when I didn't obtain games correctly, however I always buy my games nowadays.

Not everybody got as much money.

I decided to build my Wii so I don't have to pay for the games. I don't play on consoles as much as I used in the past. It's simply not worth it (Well it is worth it with some games) but it's simply too expensive.

I do buy every single PC game though.

Well I can honestly say, I download a shit load, as you can see in my sig, but that's mostly movies etc. As for games, tbh I download the game, if there is a MP component that I've heard is decent, and I like the SP side of the game, I'll buy it, otherwise I'll rarely, or never play it. For example, I downloaded Fifa for the pc, I played for less than 2 minutes, and uninstalled it.

Unintentionally contradictory or intentionally contradictory? I can't tell :S.

As for piracy and... non-piracy, I can say that I buy games which are worth buying (excluding WaW).

Which part is contradictory?

He's saying that if you decide to download games then at least say you bought it rather than admitting to downloading it, then gave his own personal opinion about what he does.

The only game I've ever downloaded is Fable, and I regret not buying it. Too much time has passed since I bought it to warrant me buying it, although I'll never download a game again unless I've VERY dubious as to whether or not it's worth it, but if that's the case I can always test it out at a LAN or something.

Totally off topic, but speaking of LAN's, I just had the best CNC3 LAN ever.

Command and Conquer 3 ?

Love that game. Red Alert 3 isn't nearly as good.

You're right, *hits head* just re-read what he said and noticed that what I said made nearly no sense :s.
