which server did you try? I cant manage to go on Cj2, but for some other reason i think, mod is probably not updated yet

'Allow Downloading' in one of the options menus.

I also cannot get in #2, and i have "allow download", I have tried to re-install the mod a number of times with no success, it is always about the file z_codju.... or so.

It means the .iwd/.ff you have is outdated/different than the one on the server. Delete the .iwd/.ff, turn downloading on and reconnect(when you uninstall, the custom content - mods, maps etc. is not deleted) OR download the latest version off this site and then reconnect.
