Recording sound with fraps??? :(

I have the same problem :s. would be nice to hear an answer to this (I can post an example later).

I don't think there's a way to get awesome sound with Fraps, but the trick for me is to use low in-game sound.

but when ever i try to record, mine is realy fuzzy. It sounds like im using my mic to record even when i unplug it .

Then it's probably your sound card. Check what device it uses to record your output volume.

i use sony sound forge for ingame sound..
you can also use audacity (freeware)
and yes helium is right, low ingame sound ftw! snd_volume 0.1 for me

yer atze i downloaded that sound forge today lol thinking "yer that will do it " but i dont no how 2 use it lol . How do u record ingame sound with it? thanks
